Climate Change
We’re not scientists and we have no intention of preaching to you on the consequences of your actions on climatic conditions. We feel like it would compromise our integrity to the extent that it would negate our credibility, but what we do suggest and our own strong belief is that excessive energy consumption definitely doesn’t benefit atmospheric, ecological or environmental constitutions. Below is a brief introduction to Climate change and some links where you can find out more….
The term Climate Chane as we have come to know it refers explicitly to climate change caused by human activity or a change of climate which is attributed directly or indirectly to human activity altering atmospheric compositions and is synonymous with Global warming.
Causes of climate change:
- Variations in solar radiation
- Deviations in the Earth’s orbit
- Mountain Building (Is the structural deformation of the Earths Crust due to Movement of tectonic plates)
- Continental Drift (the movement of the earths continents relative to each other)
- Changes in Greenhouse Gas concentrations – as humans this is our primary concern. We can manage and control the production of Greenhouse gases through efficient energy usage and reduced consumption. Regardless of whether or not it contributes to Global Warming at an accelerated pace these gases have definite ancillary pollutant effects on the environments we live in.
